Happy Spring Friends,
The Sonoran Desert was just beginning to burst into colors with all the wildflowers when we found out that Borderlandia was featured in Time Magazine's The World’s Greatest Places of 2023. That range in colors certainly matched our range of awe to be included in this other prestigious list. You can read our mention here.
Awe is a feeling we get every chance we have to visit the city of Mexico. Maybe it is just a natural reaction to the immensity of the metropolis, and pyramids, or to all the green trees everywhere around the city and the stark contrast to our borderlands. I am certain that feeling is due to the diversity of reasons that makes Mexico City a one-of-a-kind destination, and based on the reactions of our travel companions, this was a mutual feeling for this extraordinary place - and really a world of its own.
Sometimes, pictures do the best speaking to convey that diversity, so check them out here in this photostory to give you an idea of what our inaugural trip there was like:
Saludos,
Alex & Rocío
P. S. We took some extra time before the tour in Mexico City to scout out another special place for the second time for a new tour we are developing for you. Stay tuned for our next edition to learn where.
