The Value of Borderlandia: How We Solve Your Travel Pains

Two Things.

 

Borderlandia as a binational creative project began as a border fusion of bicultural backgrounds, abilities, and skills. This origin story of syncretism is symbolic, the very nature of borderlands, a place of diverse, centuries-long cultural acculturation in some of the most unique natural landscapes in the world, including the Sonoran Desert. These skills and passions can be categorized as the field of public history and are distilled into the two services we offer the public below.

Heritage Media Design.

We have leveraged our abilities in historical research and graphic design together to produce borderlands-focused educational media, social media micro exhibits, and infographics on subjects that continue to marvel us about the region we call home, a place that is now two countries. We are also available for borderlands museum, non-profit, and cultural institutions interested in collaboration, consultation, and/or development. Contact us here.

Borderlandia como proyecto creativo binacional comenzó como una fusión fronteriza de antecedentes, habilidades y destrezas biculturales. Esta historia de origen del sincretismo es simbólica, la naturaleza misma de las tierras fronterizas, un lugar de diversa aculturación cultural de siglos en algunos de los paisajes naturales más singulares del mundo, incluido el desierto de Sonora. Estas habilidades y pasiones se pueden categorizar en el campo de la historia pública y se destilan en los dos servicios que ofrecemos al público a continuación.

Diseño enfocado al patrimonio cultural.

Hemos aprovechado nuestras habilidades en investigación histórica y diseño gráfico para producir medios educativos centrados en las zonas fronterizas, micro exposiciones en redes sociales e infografías sobre temas que continúan maravillándonos sobre la región que llamamos hogar, un lugar que ahora son dos países.
