La Línea Art Studio on Morley
La Línea describe themselves as a cooperative art and event space that aims to enrich the cultural environment of Ambos Nogales by connecting artists with their community.
Since I first learn about them, I thought the concept was a great idea! As a graphic designer and visual arts lover, I believe the spaces to promote culture and arts are never enough in a community. La Línea has a great location, just a few steps from the mythical border that divides the community of Ambos Nogales. In a way, is a perfect representation of what it means to be binational (with a catchy name and great logo, by the way!). What a perfect way to fight ignorance about the borderlands than through the medium of arts. With beautiful exhibitions (even some simultaneously on both sides of the border), art workshops, concerts, screenings, and fun activities for families, this art studio is bringing life to the iconic Morley Avenue on a regular basis.
