Editorial

Hello Friends,

We are toasting to the cooler temperatures of fall with a brand new cultural heritage tour, but with a bacanora bent! We are excited to offer this itinerary into a new region of our neighboring state, the Sierra Baja to explore the destillation process of the the only registered denomination of origin product of Sonora. You will not want to miss this one of a kind chance to connect with the people who produce this special agave spirit and naturally all of the tastings we will enjoy!

In this edition, you'll also find a new feature series for the magazine, shining a spotlight on the creative endevours of binational civil society. Our debut story highlights a fabulous experience you can share with family and friends in the rural community of Cibuta, just down the road from Nogales. You'll also find a contribution from friend, historian and author, Robert Jackson on a place in northern Mexico with spectacular colonial architecture, we have our eyes on for future programming, Zacatecas.

Finally, we want to wish you a wonderful holiday season surrounded by friends and family and look forward to seeing you soon!

Alex
