Dear Friends,
July has arrived and it also brought me back home to the Sonoran Desert after a month-long residency in Barcelona. There is a lot to process from this enriching experience immersed in the world of such a vibrant city but, for certain, I can share that there is nothing like rest in one’s own bed!
This SURES scholarship to live in Spain to research cultural tourism changed my life. From the people I met to the perspectives gained and the new models and ideas I was introduced to, it was an incredible investment to enhance what we are accomplishing with Borderlandia. I look forward to sharing more with you about this experience over the coming months.
I’m excited to be back home and to get the engines ready and roaring for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. We are also excited to share some new programming surprises in this mid-summer edition of Borderlandia Magazine. Enjoy!
